Lincoln Cents 1909-present
In 1909, this series was designed by Victor D. Brenner to
commemorate Lincoln’s birthday. It was the first cent to have “In God We
Trust”. In 1959, Frank Gasparro changed the reverse to “memorialize” the 150th
anniversary of Lincoln’s birth. Thus the “Memorial Cents” term was coined in
1959. There were some minor changes in 1969,1973,1974,1982 and 1984. Cameo CC
is delighted to offer a nice mix of high-grade mint state Lincoln’s from 1930
to 1958. They are graded by NGC and PCGS MS66/MS67 RD. We do offer a limited
mix of PCGS MS68/69 RD modern era Lincolns The collector favorite is the
complete set of Lincolns from 1934-1958 in NGC MS66RD which includes 71
certified coins. Additionally, we have some modern era PR69 and PR70DCAM PCGS
material which literally “jumps off the page”

Buffalo Nickels 1913-1938
Designed by James E Fraser, this coin was the first to depict an
Indian. Often called Buffalo or Indian Head Nickel this series has a long
history of popularity with a strong collector base. First issued in 1913, the
series comes in Variety I with the raised ground and Variety 2 with the five
cents recessed on the reverse. The last Buffalo nickel was issued in 1938. We
carry a limited number of dates but always have a MS66/67 for a type set. In
the past, we have helped people find tough dates in high grades.
|
Jefferson Nickels 1938-present
In 1938, Felix Schlag designed this nickel with a President to
replace the symbolic devices used in the past. There were additional minor
modifications made in 1966,1968,1971,1972,1977, and 1978. In 1942, nickel was
determined important to the war effort. Silver was introduced and thus the
1942-1945 series was termed the “Silver War Nickels.” Cameo CC was fortunate to
locate enough of this material to offer complete sets of high-grade (NGC
MS66/67) silver war nickels. We offer a nice mix of PCGS and NGC Jeffersons in
Mint State, Full Step, Proof, and Proof Deep Cameo.

Mercury Dimes 1916-1945
This most popular series is one of the most beautifully coins
ever produced. Adolph Weinman designed this series as well as the Walking
Liberty Halves. Miss Liberty is on the obverse with the wings designating
freedom of thought. The reverse is important because of the bands. Full band
coins mean the coins were fully struck and all the details are on the diagonal
bands. Many of these dimes have been melted down over the years. For mint state
coins, most people collect from 1941-1945 which is called the short set. We
have a nice mix of PCGS and NGC Mercury Dimes from 1940-1945.
|
Roosevelt Dimes 1946-present
In 1946, John Sinnock designed this series to commemorate
Franklin D. Roosevelt and his contributions to the U.S. The reverse displays
the torch of liberty between an oak and laurel. The Roosevelt Dime has long
been a favorite of collectors. The silver coins from 1946-1964 are the most
popular and we offer these complete 48 coin sets in MS66 and MS67. If you need
certain dates, just ask us by phone or email. After 1964, the coin composition
was changed from silver to copper nickel. We have offer Roosevelt Dimes in
MS66/67, Proof, and Proof Deep Cameo from 1950 to present.
|
Washington Quarters 1932-1998
In 1932, John Flanagan designed this coin to be a commemorative
issue marking the 200th anniversary of George Washington’s birthday. We have a
nice mix of PCGS and NGC MS65/66/67 from 1940 to 1964. In 1964, the composition
was changed from silver to copper nickel. In 1976, the Bicentennial quarter was
designed by Jack Ahr and then the normal reverse was used in 1977. We have the
Bicentennial Quarters in PCGSPR69DCAM Clad and Silver. We do have Proofs, Proof
DCAM’s for 1950-1998. But, the hottest and most desired quarter is the
Statehood Quarter.
|
Statehood Quarters 1999-2008
Each state has been commissioned to design the reverse of the
quarter to commemorate the image they select for their state. Congress passed
this legislation with one new state being commemorated every 10 weeks with the
release of the appropriate statehood quarters. See the USMINT.gov web site for
more details. Every year, these coins include the two Proof Coins minted in
Silver and Clad from the San Francisco mint. As of 2002, the first 20 statehood
quarters(in the order the states joined the union) have been released by the US
Mint. We offer the PCGS, NGC and ICG PR69 DCAM and PR/PF70 DCAM coins and 5
coin sets. Also, we have the NGC and PCGS MS66/67 for all years, all states,
and all mints. As each year goes by, we will be adding 5 new states to this
series in MS and PR. The popularity of these coins has seen millions drawn into
coin collecting. This is a wonderful time to start collecting statehood
quarters.

Walking Liberty Halves 1916-1947
Long considered the most beautiful US Coin(many people think the
ASE is currently), this half dollar was designed by A.Weinman who also designed
the Mercury Dime. The initials appear on the reverse under the wing except for
a few proof coins. There were mint marks on the first two years on both the
obverse and reverse. Cameo CC has a mix of NGC and PCGS MS65/66 examples. We
have put together numerous short sets(1941-1947) in MS64/MS65 and MS66 for
customers upon request.
|
Franklin Halves 1948-1963
In 1948, John Sinnock again designed this series to commemorate
Ben Franklin. John Lewis took the liberty bell on the reverse of this
half-dollar from a model. There were some proof varieties as exemplified by the
double die and frosted proofs. Cameo CC has a moderate mix of MS and FBL's for
this series. We have had some outstanding examples of the high-end MS65/66
FBL’s. Also, we have some straight MS64FBL’s and MS65’s. For the proof series,
we do offer proofs, proof cameos, and proof deep cameos. We have assembled
complete sets of PCGS/NGC Proof Franklins for various customers.

Kennedy Halves 1964-present
In 1964, Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro co-designed the
Kennedy Half-Dollar. The obverse designed by Roberts with the reverse designed
by Gasparro. For the inaugural year of 1964, it was silver. For 1965-70 was
silver clad coinage. From 1971 to 2002, the Kennedys are made of copper nickel
except for the proofs from 1992-2002. Again, there is Bicentennial coinage in
both copper nickel and silver. Cameo CC is proud to say we are a market maker
for the Proof Kennedys. We have just about every date in stock for PR69DCAM.
Also for the 1964 Kennedy Half, we have a great selection of PR68, PR69, Cameo,
DCAM and Accent Hairs. There is a small supply of PR70DCAM material available.
Lastly, we do have a limited amount of MS67/MS68 modern era material.

Morgan Dollars 1878-1921
In 1878, George Morgan designed this dollar and Congress under
the Bland-Allison Act made this coin the standard. It is the most popular coin
in US history. Sharply struck, “proof-like” coins have a highly reflective
surface (fields) and are very scarce. They usually command a substantial
premium. We have assisted various customers in Proof Morgans. Cameo CC has a
mix of CC Morgan Dollars that always has a strong customer base. Currently, the
PL and DMPL examples are the best buy for the buck. We have a few selections
available and will continue to locate nice examples.
|
Peace Dollars 1921-1935
The Peace Dollar was somewhat controversial in that it is the
only Dollar without congressional approval. Under the Pittman act, this coin
was issued as bullion and was an outgrowth of the US Silver Dollar which was
very popular. The 1921 High Relief is a wonderful type coin. We always have a
nice example for a type set.
|
Eisenhower Dollars 1971-1978
In 1971, Frank Gasparro designed this dollar honoring both
President Eisenhower and the first landing on the moon. Since 1971, there have
been some minor modifications by changing the relief of the dies. This coin was
struck in clad and silver originally and is now copper nickel. The bicentennial
piece has several varieties in clad and one example in silver. Greatly
undervalued, this series has been a sleeper and Cameo CC has a wonderful
selection of all dollars in the series graded PR69DCAM. For type sets, you
should have an example of Silver and Clad. The key dates are truly hard to
find.
|
Susan B. Anthony Dollars 1979-1981, 1999
In 1978, Frank Gasparro designed this coin to commemorate the
work of Susan B. Anthony. This was the first coin to have a woman, other than
the mythical Miss Liberty, appear on a US coin. Because of the size, this
dollar caused confusion and was discontinued in 1981. The US Mint is scheduled
to reissue this series. Cameo CC offers a complete set of all types in PR69
DCAM. Once again, this is a wonderful type coin for twentieth century type
sets. We do carry PCGS MS66/67 for the series.
|
Sacagawea Dollars 2000-present
Sacagawea was the Shoshone Indian who assisted the historical
exploits of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Between 1804-1806, while still a
teenager, she guided the adventurers from the Northern Great Plains to the
Pacific Ocean and back. Her husband, Toussaint Charbonneau, and their son who
was born during the trip, Jean Baptiste, also accompanied the group. This
Dollar has created a lot of controversy for a variety of reasons. We offer the
NGC and PCGS proof and mint state versions for all years, mints, and grades.
|
American Silver Eagles 1986-present
The obverse was designed by Adolph Weinman who also designed the
Mercury Dime and Walking Liberty Half. John Mercanti designed the reverse for
this issue. Just about everybody agree that this is one of the best-designed
coins ever produced by the US mint. Congress enacted the Liberty Coin Act in
1985 with the intent to produce one-ounce coins so people could put away
silver, gold, and platinum bullion coins. This act authorized the US Mint to
produce sufficient quantities for the public demand. In the 16 years, this
program has been very successful. We were the first coin dealer to market and
certify this series. In the last two years, we have sold well over 100 sets in
NGC/PCGS PR69DCAM. We do have a limited number of NGC MS and PF70’s. For MS69
ASE’s, we offer the complete 17 coin set in NGC only. We do have some PCGS
dates available.
|
American Gold Eagles 1986-present
The obverse was designed by Adolph Weinman who also designed the
Mercury Dime and Walking Liberty Half. John Mercanti designed the reverse for
this issue. Just about everybody agree that this is one of the best-designed
coins ever produced by the US mint. Congress enacted the Liberty Coin Act in
1985 with the intent to produce one-ounce coins so people could put away
silver, gold, and platinum bullion coins. This act authorized the US Mint to
produce sufficient quantities for the public demand. In the 16 years, this
program has been very successful. We offer the complete set for all
denominations. Many people want to get the 4 coin sets for a particular year to
give as gifts to their loved ones. We offer NGC and PCGS MS69 and PR69/70DCAM.
|
American Platinum Eagles 1997-Present
The obverse was designed by Adolph Weinman who also designed the
Mercury Dime and Walking Liberty Half. John Mercanti designed the reverse for
this issue. Platinum is a very hard metal and it is very difficult to produce
planchets/coins. For Platinum Eagles, there are four denominations: $100(1oz),
$50(1/2 oz), $25(1/4oz), and $10 (1/10 oz). The proof coinage really has a lot
of eye appeal, low mintage, low population, and difficult to locate in high
grade. The mint state coinage is especially difficult to find in MS69. There
are many collectors who like to collect directly from the US Mint but we know
that all Platinum Eagles are not alike and we recommend certified coins.

Modern Silver Commemoratives 1982-present
Since the beginning of coins by the Greeks and Romans,
commemorative coins have been very popular. US Commemoratives can be
categorized by three methods: silver, gold, and modern. The silver
commemoratives are half dollars and dollars. The modern commemoratives are half
dollars and dollars and commemorate famous Presidents, American Heroes,
anniversaries, and special events. This series continues to grow with a strong
collector base. We have a nice mix of most issues in PCGS. We have a limited
group of NGC and PCGS MS70 coins upon request. Cameo CC has assembled several
complete sets for our customers.
|
Modern Gold Commemoratives 1984-present
With the 1984 Olympics, the US Government enacted legislation to
offer $10 Olympic Gold pieces. Also, the Library of Congress bimetal was issued
in 2001. All the rest of the gold commemoratives are five dollar in mint state
and proof. This series has been promoted by a lot of different companies and
continues to grow. We offer this set in PCGS and NGC MS69/70 and Pr69/70DCAM.
